Received a last minute call from my boss asking me to go to Bachok. What?!Bachok? Bachok Kelantan?Yes, that Bachok. (Bukan Bachok cerita toyol hijau yang pernah menghantui mindaku satu ketika dahulu). The last time that I ever set foot on Kelantan soil was 11 years back. I really didn't know what to expect from this trip other than duduk melangut tido dalam kereta for 6 solid hours, mengunyah makanan tak berzat and bored to death. If it wasn't because of work I would rather bored to death at home.
The journey was tiring indeed. Instead of using Terengganu highway besides the beach, our office driver decided to take the kelapa sawit route. Jabor kot namanya. For nearly 4 hours, to my right, to my left is kelapa sawit plantation. No other view, adoi sangatla boring. Only after when we nearly reached Kelantan I got to see people's houses. Big beautiful bungalow of the Kelantanese. Sepanjang-panjang jalan tu lah. Memang kaya orang-orang Kelantan.
My trip to Kelantan was to attend a briefing on 5S at Pejabat Tanah Dan Jajahan Bachok. Basically 5S is a method for organizing a workplace and keeping it organized. Yes, they are very vey very organized. You'll be surprised to see some of the pics and see how organized this office are and smells nice too (the office la of course). I did experience 5S methodolgy when I was doing software support at TNB, PJ sometime ago. Back then I didn't really bother but did notice how tidy my place at TNB were and a lot of things been labeled neatly and the TNB bosses keep mentioning the 5S word. Seeing the way PTJ Bachok did it, I personally think that we should implement it here in this office because when dealing with files, my unit is a complete mess. It's like finding needle in a haystack but my colleague are damn good at it. Hehehe.
Heading back to Kuantan on Sunday and this time we took the Terengganu beach road. Yea yea suka. I love beach 10 times better. Bought Losong's famous keropok lekor at Losong (obviously). Pok Ya the driver got lost for a while before we found Losong and we ended up at jalan mati opposite Masjid Kristal. Apa lagi ngeceh-ngeceh la kan. Shopping for my family at Pasar Payang. Sangat geram dan gatal tangan nak beli the beautiful batik there. Macam lawa je baju kebaya batik terletak atas badan patung-patung yang ramping tu. Huwahuwawa. Tapi I'm so out of budget. Lagipun somebody sudah memaksa turun KL this coming wekend. So kena sep bajet sket.
Overall for this work trip: I give a thumb up. Ambo suko. Bulehla lain kali ambo ko Kelate lagi. Jalang-jalang cari makang. Ngeh ngeh.

Sesuatu Tentang Bijih & Air Yang Tenang

The perks of having little cousins : You get to go to places you thought you would only go when you were little. 
Had a small family gathering cum family trip to Sungai Lembing, once a famous tin mining town and was the richest town in Pahang, known as El Dorado of the East(never been here before but I do know about this place, thanks to Destinasi Bajet dan QI yang comel) last weekend. My idea of sungai is something that should be similar to Sungai Congkak. Hehe. At least you need to have a little waterfall, hutan sikit-sikit and a bit of shades. Sungai Lembing is so far from that. The place I must say is quite open. You can actually saw what the family from miles away were doing (miles tu macam exaggerate la pula kan, but something like that la). This place is perfect for bbq though. A tent is a must if you prefer to lepak-lepak berbaring (like my grandparents). I did have my shares of fun but my little cousins paling seronok sebab dapat main air.
We went to Muzium Sungai Lembing after that. Nothing much amused me as I have seen it before in Destinasi Bajet. The museum is situated on the hilltop. Jenuh atok nak mendaki. According to my uncle, since Pekan Sungai Lembing is prone to get flooded the museum was built at a place high enough so that all the exhibits will be well preserved. According to me, this is just another way to see visitors tercungap-cungap mendaki. Ngeh ngeh. Snap a few pictures of the kids and a few pictures of me . We headed home tired and sleepy and went shopping at East Coast Mall (sempat lagi tu) and had dinner at Satay Zul (Kuantan version of Satay Kajang kot)

Another childhood friend got married last weekend to a guy from Perak. The bride, Hani was all glowy and happy (but come to think of it, Hani is always glowy and happy no matter what is the ocasssion ) I love attending friends' wedding (when I have the chance to) as it would be the only way to catch up with friends and somehow it feels good to see long lost familiar faces. On the record, most of my primary school's friends had already tied the knot and some even brought their own kids to the wedding. Phew, how time flies by. Kids people, kids!! Bukan bawa pasangan dah, bawa anak tu. I'm not even married yet. Hehhee.
To Hani and her Hero , wish you all the best in your marriage. Semoga Berbahagia Hingga Ke Syurga. Amiiiin.

5 hadiah impian dan sebab-sebab menginginkannya.
1) Beberapa ekor kuda laut yang boleh terngiang-ngiut dalam akuarium. Owh sangat comel. I always get fascinated by kuda laut. Akan terlonjak-lonjak kegembiraan bila melihat kuda laut (kat Aquaria ada banyak. Likeyyyyy). Even merchandise kuda laut pon boleh buat hati ini berbunga keriangan. I used to have penghias telefon bimbit kuda laut (dah patah), key chain kuda laut (dah patah juga), sandal kuda laut (dah putus).
2) A brand new watch to replace my 5 years old BUM yang sudah tidak comel. An Esprit or a Guess will do just fine. Mahu berketerampilan professional gitu.
3) A blazer for reason number 2. Kan bagus kalau jadi Software Engineer. Tak payah blazer-blazer bagai. Tapi kini daku terpaksa.
4) A laptop yang comey dan canggih with internet access of course. Easy for me to do my work at home. Define work: internet surfing, downloading songs, tv series (Prison Break dengan Wentworth Miller yang sangat bertanjak dan droolicious gitu), anime (dah lama tak tengok Bleach), updating Fotopages, bloghopping.
5) I have been wanting this Biopur since forever kerana keterbukaan pori-pori di hidung yang sangat menjengkelkan. Operasi reducing pore size perlu dilakukan anytime sooner.
5 impresi terhadap orang yang diminati
Sangat bertanjak, sungguh selebet in a charming way (the famous tidak lipat kolar jersey), knows how to control situation (ye la sangat, cuba dapat red card sekeping, mau bergocoh dengan referee kat tengah padang), indeed a football legend, sangat comel sewaktu kecil (I gave his cutie,tomey poster when he was 5 to my senior back in high school. Can I like errr have it back? Sungguh buruk siku  )
Perkara paling hebat pernah dilakukan untuk anda
Somebody drove all the way from KL to this only-God-knows-where place to pick me up and drove again to KL and spend JUST an hour or so together then drove again all the way from KL to send me back to the only-God-knows-where place yang sangat jauh dan sangat ceruk. Sangat gila.
5 ciptaan paling digemari:
1) Kuda laut
2) iPod Nano (kenapa perlu sangat kiyut, sangat memudahkan)
3) Internet (tanpanya, mandomlah duniaku)
4) Cermin mata (saya sangat takut memakai contact lense. Fobia takut mata jadi buta. huhuuhhu)
5) Masakan mak (whatever dish that my mom cook even nasi goreng gaul telur sekalipun gerenti sedap punya. I'm sooo wanna inherit cooking skill that my mom has, tapi kena rajin pergi dapur dulula kan?)

1) Bad hygiene (sila potong kuku anda, sila gosok gigi anda)
2) Buku yang dilipat-lipat mukasuratnya (have you ever heard a thing called BOOKMARK. Sila guna okk)
3) Things that I thought I could handle myself but in the end I lose control of everything.
4) People who wants you to respect him, tapi treat you like crap. (Tolonglah pupus dari muka bumi ini)
5) Sangat benci AC Mizal jadi pengacara AF. Boleh? Heheheh.

Atas Bukit Yang Tinggi

This would be my shortest trip ever to Cameron Highlands. In just only one day, I managed to enjoy the beauty and the not so cold weather of Cameron Highlands and not forgotting perangai gigam(gila gambar) dan gila-gila kawan-kawan. 
Taklimat di Pejabat Tanah Cameron Highlands.
Diberi taklimat lebih kurang sejam mengenai Cameron Highlands. Sambil-sambil dengar taklimat, sempat juga ngeceh-ngeceh dalam meeting room. Tak senonoh betul. The best part though would be LUNCH. Sangat sedaaaap.  Kami dihidangkan dengan kari ayam yang sangat berlemak, cukup rasa karinya, rasa masinnya rasa pedasnya. Adus heaven. Ada juga daging dendeng yang tastenya sangat sama dengan daging dendeng masa sekolah dulu. Owh, terubat juga rindu nak makan dendeng. Rasa nak menangis dah masa ni sebab sedap sangat. Then, ada juga baby sawi dan sambal ikan masin. Memang semua lauk-lauk tadi compliment each other. Semua pun tak bercakap sebab khusyuk menikmati hidangan yang sangat beh itu. Kasi sepuluh bintang untuk tukang masak. 
Jalan-jalan di MARDI.
After that we were brought to MARDI. Sesi gigam a.k.a ngeceh-ngeceh berlaku dengan hebatnya di sini. The landscape sangat sangat sangat cantik. All the flowers are soooo pwetty dan gomuk-gomuk. Tapi bau baja kat situ agak menjengkelkan dan tak menyenangkanla juga. A price we had to pay to enjoy beauty kot.
Time Tunnel.
I had been to Cameron Highlands quite several times but surprisingly I had never been to this Time Tunnel before. No fees needed (Alhamdulillah). Time Tunnel ni macam ala-ala muzium la. Kita akan dibawa merentasi zaman gitu. Memang banyak barang-barang antik. Frankly, tak pernah terfikir pun akan jumpa macam-macam produk zaman-zaman dulu yang sangat well preserved. Sangat beh sebab kami mengeceh-ngeceh dan berlakon konon-konon nak kasi mood zaman dolu-dolu.
Shop Till You Drop.
Dah datang Cameron tak sah kalau tak beli produk Cameron kan? Typical la, beli strawberi, bunga-bunga, teh pelbagai perisa, sayur-sayuran. Nearly RM100 gakla mengalir. Huhu. All the products were sold at reasonable price so sangat rugi kalau tak beli.
Owh, sangat enjoy trip Cameron Highlands ni. Nak lagi I did not even vomit pun. Hoho. Terasa diri ini hebat. Probably because I slept along the way la. Kalau tak gerenti dah pening-pening mual. Cuma agak terkilan sebab tak dapat makan scones dan minum teh dekat area ladang teh yang menghijau which I could not remember the name of that place. Hehe.

Memancing Dengan Kawan, Ku Rasa Bertuah, Pulang Sebelum Hujan

When you have no shopping mall to window shopping to, and no so-called kewl places to hang out with your friends, you will have no other choice than to become one with nature. Hmm..inhale..exhale...Ala-ala bersatu dan bersebati dengan alam gitu. Eceh.
We spend a beautiful evening together dengan memancing di bumi perak yang bertuah. Port a.k.a so-called lubuk ikan sebelah Bilik Kuliah jadi pilihan. I'm not really sure if there ever exists ikan yang besar-besar dalam kolam tersebut, tapi hasil tangkapan 3 ekor ikan yang comey-lotey oleh Azraai was better than nothing la kan?
Group memancing was divided into 2 categories.(Ini kategori that I memandai created myself. ) Kategori Azraai Pembawa Hantu (APH) dan Kategori Orang-orang Yang Gagal (OOYG). APH dituduh membawa hantu ikan oleh OOYG sebabnya since the day before, Azraai alone yang umpan asek mengena. OOYG dengan pancing hebat dan berharga ratusan hengget gagal mendapat sebarang tangkapan. So sad la korang ni tau. Hehe. As for me, tidakla memihak mana-mana group (neutral gitu.kononnyala) tapi lebih seronokla dengan orang yang dapat ikan kan? Hehe. Ampun Faizal dan Din.
Hasil tangkapan APH. Ikan-ikan ini kemudiannya di bbq kan. The taste: errr, tidak boleh diterima tekakku. Lagipun ada banyak tulang. Shikin yang hebat juga yang habiskan. Way to go Shikin!!

Bumi Perak Yang Bertuah

I'm in INSTUN, Tanjung Malim, Perak for a 3 weeks course on Undang-undang Tanah. Never been to Perak before let alone Tanjung Malim itself. Far away from a hectic life and 'civilization'. Most of the shops here dah tutup around 6pm. Huh, something you won't fine in KL. Memang pekan cowboy abesla.
Tapi the scenery here is superb. Boleh nampak banjaran Titiwangsa yang diseliputi kabus most of the time. Hijau di keliling. Saujana mata memandang. A few pics taken from my room. More pictures will be updated soon.

These are the pics taken during my 5 days induction in IKWAS, Kluang. Sangat beh dan menarik. When I first arrived, takut juga. Dunno whyla, butterfly in the stomach sokmo. Huhu.
Semua orang nampak hebat-hebat. Preety girls dan kaum-kaum Adam yang bertanjak. The way they portrayed themselves membuatkan diriku terasa kecil. Being a Software Engineer these whole time made me berada di dunia sendiri, hence tidak pandaila sangat untuk bergaul dengan masyarakat. But fortunately, after an ice-break and a few LDKs, it turned out semua orang pun sangatla gila-gila. Especially during Malam Persembahan. Semua bakat-bakat terpendam habeh terkeluar.
You guys totally rock!!!!
Hopefully, all 69 of us can keep this relationship last longer and can be promoted to get the permanent post. Sama-samala kita doakan. Amiiiin.
